How to enable permissions to retrieve leads from LinkedIn Ads?

If you haven’t enabled the right permissions to retrieve leads from A specific LinkedIn Ad, you might get the following error message on LeadsBridge:

You are not authorized to create this record: […] status=ACTIVE

To enable permissions on LinkedIn, you should have the user role of at least an Account Manager, Campaign Manager, or Creative Manager to connect your LinkedIn account with LeadsBridge. In addition to having one of these user roles, you must also have access to the specific LinkedIn Ad Account where the Lead Gen Forms are running, and that ad account must be selected when connecting LinkedIn to LeadsBridge to allow lead retrieval.

Important : You need first to check which Page role you have inside LinkedIn. The user who connects the LinkedIn Ad Account has to be a Page Admin ora Lead Generation Forms Manager for the associated LinkedIn Business Page.

To view the permissions of each user who has access to the Page in the client’s LinkedIn Ads account,

  • Navigate to the Campaign Manager
  • Select the Business Page associated with your LinkedIn Ads Account.
  • In the upper right side of the screen, click the Admin tools dropdown menu and select Page Admins
