Google Analytics lets you measure your advertising ROI as well as track your Flash, video, and social networking sites and applications.
In this article, you’ll learn how to connect LeadsBridge with Google Analytics v. 4
**Step 1:**Click on the Create new Bridge button to start the bridge configuration
**Step 2:**Choose the apps you want to connect and select Source and Google Analytics as Destination
**Step 3:**Choose the assets involved in the sync for Google Analytics:
- Click on Create Google Analytics
- Enter the Management ID (G-ID) and API Secret from your GA4 Data Stream to connect Google Analytics with LeadsBridge
Then, log in to your Google Analytics account:
- Go to Admin
- Under Account and also under Property, make sure to select the correct one
- Under Property, expand the Data Streams section
- Click on the required Data Stream name
- On the panel that opens on the right, under Measurement ID locate your Tracking ID
- Scroll down and on the Measurement Protocol API secrets, you will find the Secret Key
- Copy-paste the Secret Key and authorize the Google Analytics integration with LeadsBridge
3. Go back to the bridge settings, select the Custom Event under the Event section, and type the same of the parameters configured inside your Google Analytics account
Step 4: Click on Continue and go to the Field mapping step
Please note that Event Name is a mandatory field, and it should not be empty. It accepts alphabetic and numeric characters. If you don’t have the source field to map with, you can use the function below to generate the random value with 4 letters and 4 numbers.
Step 5: Once finished, you can test the connection and activate the bridge
